Of Hahira passed away in South Georgia Medical Center. She was born September 28, 1948 to the late Arthur & Evelyn Jordan Hurst. Before declining health, Mrs. Rickman loved spending time at various racing events, fishing at the flats, and doing yardwork. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and friends, along with spoiling her grandchildren. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Gene Rickman, Daughter Tammy Rickman, Sister Jewell McCullers and 2 brothers David Hurst and Tommy Hurst.
Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Rickman are: Daughters, Rhonda Rodgers; Lakeland, GA, Tammy & Rex Browning; Valdosta, GA, Holly & Tim Radney; Valdosta, GA, Son Danny & Karen Rickman; Stockton, GA, 10 Grandchildren: Mandy Browning, Daniel Rickman, Keri Banks, Jessie Browning, Ashley Browning, Lindsay Browning, Haley Radney, Kari Sangster, Elijah Radney and Dylan Rodgers, 7 Great Great Grandchildren, Brothers & Sister-in-Law Fred & Joyce Hurst, Horace Hurst, Sisters & Brothers-in-Law; Mary Alice Paul Spriggs, Joyce Buddy Cantrell, Diane Keith Roberson, Carol Sue Cubino & Several Nieces and Nephews and extended family.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday January 8, 2017 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services . Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
