Evelyn King Rowell – 65
Of Valdosta, GA passed away Sunday February 26, 2012 at the Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 5, 1946 to the late Mexico & Eva H. Hart King. Mrs. Rowell was Church of God by faith and worked with the Valdosta Daily Times as a paper sales lady and paper carrier for many years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching "The Young and the Restless". She was preceded in death by her sister, Annie Boyd and brother, Dallas King.
Survivors Include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Clines & Brandy Rowell, Hahira, GA; 3 Grandchildren: Tommy Rowell, Josh Rowell and Michael Rowell; Sisters & Brother-in-law, Eva & Frank Wetherington, Valdosta, GA, Louella King, Valdosta, GA; Special Friend, John Carr, Ray City, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Bro. Johnnie Quartermann will be officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
