Of Valdosta passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009 at her son's residence after a brief illness. She was born in Seminole County, GA on September 15, 1929 to the late William & Bama Spooner Folds. She was a member of New Season Church of God where she was in charge of the Season Saints. She loved cooking family dinner on Sunday's. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Seymour to whom she was married for 59 years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 8, 2009 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the funeral home
