EVIE JOHANNA HEYER BOLTON
 
 
 Evie Bolton, of Lake Park, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, one day before her 86th birthday, at Langdale Hospice House.
 
 
 Mrs. Bolton was born in Erlangen, Germany on March 27, 1928 to Gustav and Kathe Heyer. One of 6 children, she grew up in Nazi Germany where her father was taken away and killed in Dauchau Concentration Camp for his religious beliefs and efforts in helping the allies during World War II.
 
 
 At the end of the war, she met her handsome, American soldier stationed at the air base in Erlangen, where she worked. After 2 long years and a lot of red tape, she was able to join her future husband in Segal, Kentucky. Bernard and Evie were married nearly 63 years. She obeyed the gospel in 1949 and was a devoted minister's wife and mother to their 3 daughters.
 
 
 Evie was loved by all who knew her. She had an infectious laugh and a unique way of telling stories that brought everyone to laughter or in tears and stunned silence of her tales of growing up in Nazi, Germany.
 
 
 She leaves 3 daughters, JeneneSteve Dasher of Lake Park, Diane Bolton of Lake Park, and CathyMike Gravitt of Mason, Ohio. She also has 4 grandchildren, StephenJessica Dasher of Lake Park, JeffreyKatherine Dasher of Lake Park, MelanieChris Casey of Mason, Ohio and ScottJennifer Gravitt of Sharonville, Ohio and 5 great-grandchildren, Alexis Dasher, Jaycee Dasher, Emma Dasher of Lake Park and Zach and Micah Casey of Mason, Ohio. She also leaves a sister, Ruth Burkebile, of Spring, Texas and ManfredLoni Heyer of Erlanger, Germany, brother-in-law FrankGlinda Bolton of Ridgecrest, California, Charles Leon Bolton of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Bernice Baker of Live Oak, Florida and special friend and sister-in-law Betty Bolton of Tampa, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews and sisters and brothers in Christ.
 
 
 She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard of 62 years, parents, Gustav and Kathe Heyer, a brother, Kurt Heyer, and sisters IreneHans Gruber and HiedelGeorge Weisenheimer, and many brothers and sisters-in-law. Mrs. Bolton was a long-time member of Jennings Church of Christ, where her husband was minister.
 
 
 A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2014 at 11:00, at Riverview Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum with entombment to follow. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until service time. Her grandson Scott Gravitt of Mason, Ohio will preside over the service.
