Of Ray City, GA passed away on September 23, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 22, 1952 in Tampa, FL to the late Thomas and Fanny (Thomas) Mathney. Along with her parents, Flora is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford W. Evans, siblings, great-granddaughter Kaydince Long, great-grandson Grantt Long, Grandson William Hayes.
Survivors Include: Daughters and Sons-in-Law Frances Long (Roger) of Ray City, GA, Angie Beaver (Joseph) of Lakeland, GA; Son Wayne Evans of Citra, FL; 12 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; 5 Stepdaughters; Stepson Jessie Evans of Hahira, GA; Numerous siblings; Nephew Donald Jarvis of Ocala, FL.
As per her wishes, Flora will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. The Evans family is being cared for by the compassionate staff at Music Funeral Services, Lakeland.
