Florene Agnes Kalil, age 95, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at The Orchard surrounded by her loving family. Florene was born October 12, 1927 in Douglas, Coffee County, Georgia to the late Maude Nahara Malham and Joseph Malham. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking Lebanese desserts and home-cooked goodies to people throughout the community during holidays. She was a Pink Lady at South Georgia Medical Center for thirty years, and was very involved in the International Club, and also active in the Catholic Church Aftercare. She never met a stranger and had no enemies. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Kelly Kalil; three brothers and two sisters whom she loved dearly.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Angie K. McKinney and husband Larry of Valdosta, Georgia, son and daughter-in-law, Noel Kalil and wife Pam of Hahira, Georgia; grandsons, Austin Kalil, Christopher Kalil and Dean McKinney and wife Alana of Lake Park, Georgia and two great-grandsons, Blaine McKinney and Casen McKinney; numerous nieces, nephews and one nephew that visited her twice a day in town.
