Florine Todd Carter

Florine Todd Carter, age 87, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee. Florine was born on August 26, 1934 to the late Jane Elizabeth Griner and Rossie Lee Moore in Lakeland, Georgia. Mrs. Carter was a loving mother who had a love for music, playing guitar and song writing. Amongst her many musical talents she loved to yodel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two children: Terri Lynn Ray and David Bret Todd; husband, Bobby E. Carter; sisters, Alene M. Dennis, Christine M. Hughes and Irene M. Rockwood. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Freddy and Sandra Todd of Bainbridge, GA.; daughter, Vicky A. Hopper of Orange, Texas. 6 grandchildren; Jennifer, Monica, Roxanne, Todd, Felicia and C.J. 14 great grandchildren; sister; Jean M. Bennett of Lake Park, GA. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 18, 2021 in the Sunset Hill Cemetery located at 1100 N. Oak St. Valdosta, GA.
