Forest "Tom" Lawhun

Forest “Tom” Lawhun – 66 of Valdosta passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Lakehaven Nursing Home after a brief illness. He was born on March 21, 1952 in Canton, Ohio to the late Bert & Alice Lawhun. Tom worked in landscaping for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Lawhun.
Survivors Include: Wife, Margaret Lawhun, Valdosta; Daughter & Son-in-law: Miranda & Timothy Mabry, Valdosta; 3 Grandchildren: Madeline, Lillian & Jacob Mabry; Sisters: Pearl Beverly, Sahuarita, AZ, Beverly Dadisman, Florence, AZ, Phyllis Cook, Marana, AZ and a number of step daughters, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the funeral home. No formal services will be held.
