Of Valdosta, GA passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born August 13, 1922 in Birmingham, AL to the late Jake and Josephine Lorino Ceravolo. She was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Mrs. Frances was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Theodore "Ted" Bruce, Sr.
Her survivors Include: Daughter, Carol Bruce, Valdosta, GA; 4 Sons & Daughters-in-law, Ted Bruce, Jr., Tallahassee, FL, Billy Bruce & Sherry Sirman, Valdosta, GA, Bobby & Cecelia Bruce, Valdosta, GA, Tim & Barbara Bruce, Valdosta, GA; 4 Grandchildren: Andy Bruce, Blake Bruce Brittany, Kate Dean J.T. and Brooke Chaney; 2 Great Grandchildren: Noah and Piper; Brother & Sister-in-law, Bobby & Jo Bruce, Birmingham, AL and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 6, 2014 in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 12:00 P.M to 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
