Frances Anna Heller Westberry – 91
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Hospice House of South Georgia in Valdosta, GA. She was born in Elmira, NY on August 22, 1924 to the late Francis B. and Beulah Grey Heller. She was the oldest of seven children. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Jay Westberry. She was preceded by her brothers, David, Richard, Robert and her sister, Charlotte Dukes. The Westberry's met while serving their country in World War II. She was in the Navy and Jay was in the Marines. Their marital union lasted 60 wonderful years. She was a Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who truly loved and cherished her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
Frances was dedicated to her God, her late husband, her family and their happiness and wellbeing. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and the joyful Sunday School Class. She loved and lived life to the fullest and loved the "Braves". Frances forever thanked God for the blessed life he gave her.
She is survived by 3 sons; Gary & Beth Westberry of Lake Park, GA, Greg & Jean Westberry of Valdosta, GA, David Jay Westberry of Miami, FL; Grandchildren, Candace & Scott Reaves, Danny & Diann Westberry, Kim Rhodes, Sandra Roe, & Heather Arin; several Great Grandchildren and step Grandchildren special Jerry & Densia Smiley, Devoted pet, Angel; Brothers & Sisters-in-Law, Michael & Jane Heller of Columbus, OH, John Heller of Columbus, OH, Diane Heller of Bradenton, FL; Special Sister-in-Law, Fay Westberry of Valdosta, GA & Evelyn Westberry of Seal Beach, CA; Special Nurse, Lu Mullis. Several Nieces, Nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Morrison Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be mailed to the Hospice House of South Georgia at 2263 Pineveiw Drive, Valdosta, GA 31602.
