Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Langdale Hospice House. She was born on October 15, 1938 in Talladega, AL to the late Ocie and Frances Ista Shaddix Hooper. She was a loving, caring mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Frances enjoyed spending time with her family, church family, and co-workers. She was a dedicated hard worker and after many years of service, she retired from Shaw Carpet Mill in Valdosta, GA. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Freeman, Sr, a daughter, Janet Guthrie, and two sisters, Willo Dean Bozeman and Judy Conway.
Her survivors include Son, Gene Swinson of Lithia Springs, GA; Daughter, Nancy Gray of Navarre, FL; Son, Howard Lee Freeman, Jr. of Valdosta, GA; Daughter, Kim Crosson of Tallahassee, FL; 14 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM on Saturday, November 14, 2015 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverveiw Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the funeral home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Sympathy may be expressed online at our website www.musicfuneralservices.com .
