Frank “Buddy” Leo Bohanan, Jr., age 60, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his residence. Buddy as he was affectionately called, was born in Iowa City, Iowa on August 24, 1961 to the late Ruth Philinda Benjamin and Frank Leo Bohanan, Sr. He was a truck driver with RBI of Cairo, Georgia. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan, avid NASCAR fan; enjoying fishing, drinking beer, singing and dancing. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Paisley Shaver and one brother, Richard Hopson.
Survivors include his loving wife of forty-three years, Wanda Carter Bohanan of Valdosta; his children: Kenneth Keen and wife Robin, Michel Poag and Victoria Bohanan all of Valdosta, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters: Nina B. Keen and husband Kenny of Lakeland, Georgia, Frankie B. Coleman of Nashville, Georgia and Rebecca Bland of Lutz, Florida, and special niece, Marie Keen of Lakeland, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock pm, Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the Music Funeral Services, Valdosta Chapel. Interment will be private.
