Freddie Carson Redish- 71
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at his residence. He was born to the late June and Ethel Redish on September 22, 1953, in Valdosta, Georgia. Freddie had a deep passion for hunting and fishing. He loved to tinker with anything around the house and most of all loved gardening. When he wasn’t working on his latest project, Freddie would unwind by watching NASCAR and college football. Fred was a member of the Penny Branch Hunting Club, Molley Rock Hunting Club, and South Georgia River Rats Four Wheel Drive Club. He also had a keen interest in current events, regularly tuning into the news to stay informed about the world around him.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Tress Crosby Redish of Valdosta, Georgia; daughters: Erin Wacter (Kevin) of Lake Park, Georgia and Emily Tillman (Eric) of Valdosta, Georgia; son, Travis Redish (Kayla) of Valdosta, Georgia; many grandchildren: Shaw Wacter (Hannah), Brynn Wacter, Eli Tillman, Allison Redish, Carson Tillman, Kurt Redish, Abby Tillman, Beau Tillman; 2 sisters: Glenda Norgard (Rick) of Fargo, North Dakota and Catherine Strickland (Jerry) of Baxley, Georgia; brother, Clif Redish (Dottie) of Calhoun, Georgia; a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home immediately following the service. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
