Garland M. Headley Sr. – 87
Of Lakeland passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Fellowship Assisted Living in Nashville GA after a lengthy illness. He was born January 29, 1930 to the late William & Virginia Robinson Headley. Mr. Headley worked as a Heavy equipment operator for many years before declining health. He served in the United States Navy for over 20 years before retirement. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jimmy Richardson, a son Marshall Headley, wife Margaret Singletary and a Daughter, Monya Mathis.
Survivors include Sister Mary Markle, Keyser, WV., Grandchildren; Isabella Shealy, Ty Shealy, Aizlinn Mathis, Other family members; Bruce Mathis, David & Faith Walker, Kristy Mathis, Chad & Danya Shealy, Dub Music, Glynda Roush, Josh and Dawn Walker, Justin and Toni Walker. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00A.M. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow at Fender Cemetery.
