Gary "Jawbreaker" Bennett

Gary “Jawbreaker” Bennett, 49, of Valdosta, GA passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018. He was born in Valdosta, GA on April 20, 1968 to the late Ernest Bennett and Delila (Mange) Bennett of Valdosta, GA. Mr. Bennett was a truck driver for The Scruggs Company. He loved watching football, Nascar racing and loved his family. He loved everyone and would give anyone the shirt off of his back. He is preceded in death by his father, aunt, Madeline and uncle, Virgil.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his Wife: Jessica Bennett, Valdosta, GA; 3 daughters and Son in law: Alesa & Xavier Clark, Moultrie, GA, Kai Bennett, Valdosta, GA, Cheyenne Bennett, Valdosta, GA; 2 Sons: Matthew Bennett, Valdosta, GA, Jah’Cobi Edmonds, Valdosta, GA; 3 Grandchildren: Isaiah “Puddin”, Jeremiah “Turtle” and Maya; Mother-in-law & Step Father-in-law: Barbara & Ken Dukes, Valdosta; Father-in-law & Step Mother-in-law: Howard “Junk” & Wanda Terry, Valdosta; Sister and Brother in law: Deborah and Rickey Stinson, Troy, AL; Brother and Sister in law: Tim and Kizzy Bennett, Valdosta, GA; 2 daughters at heart: Kailly & Alyssa and a number of nieces and nephews with a special mention to Destiny Bennett, Jasmine Bennett, Tasha Stafford, Sheala Stafford & Victoria Johnson; cousins: Pam, Mimi, Kaydence & Kelsie; best friend: Jeff Decker & family and all of his wife’s family that he considered his own.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Valdosta chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following at Good Hope Cemetery.
