Of Valdosta passed away Sunday, December 11, 2005 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Lowndes County, GA on September 30, 1953 to the late Earnest & Gladys Knight. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. When asked to volunteer for a day at Victory Christian School, he enjoyed the children so much that he stayed for 5 years. Mr. Knight retired from the United States Air Force after 10 years of service.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 14, 2005 in Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Ward and Rev. Wayne Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Empire Cemetery in Lanier County. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Victory Christian School, 3229 Madison Highway, Valdosta, GA. 31601
