Of Adel, GA passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his brother's residence in Barney, GA. He was born on June 3, 1959 in Valdosta, GA. He owned and operated Lightsey Pest Control. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Captain C. L. and Shirley Griffin Lightsey.
His survivors include, Brothers and Sisters-in-Law, Lee & Connie Lightsey of Barney, GA; Freddy & Belinda Lightsey of Valdosta, GA; Ricky Lightsey of Valdosta, GA; Nieces & Nephews, Randy & Brandi Lightsey of Hahira, GA; Brian & Nicole Lightsey of Valdosta, GA; Ray & Kathy Whatley of Jacksonville, FL; Dean Lightsey of St. Petersburg, FL; Dave Lightsey of Athens, GA; Brett & Jessica Maddocks of Columbus, GA; and umerous Great Nieces & Nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
