Gary Moser, 75
Of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 09, 2025. He was born to the late Homer Moser and Carol (Sharp) Moser on November 12, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Gary was a dedicated attorney with a successful 42-year career. Throughout his professional journey, he was an active member of various prestigious organizations, reflecting his commitment to both his community and his field. He was a proud member of the Rotary International – North Valdosta chapter, the Little River Gun Club, and the Valdosta Bar Association. In addition, he was a respected member of the State Bar of Georgia. His collegiate and social life was equally vibrant, as he was a fraternity brother of Phi Kappa Sigma and a valued member of the Valdosta Country Club.
Gary's educational achievements were notable as well. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1972, followed by his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the esteemed Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1981. His educational background and career in law reflected his passion for both learning and serving his community with dedication and professionalism.
Gary was the epitome of a true gentleman, known for his meticulous nature and unwavering integrity. He never hesitated to give praise where it was deserved, always uplifting others with genuine admiration. His heart was enormous, filled with love and fierce devotion to his family. As a grandfather, father, and husband, he was nothing short of amazing, offering both guidance and unconditional support.
Gary's legacy was shaped by his service as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, where his bravery and skill were evident. He was also an expert marksman, a testament to his precision and discipline in everything he did. A man who demanded the best from himself, Gary’s dedication to his work never wavered. He earned his Juris Doctorate and built a successful law firm, where he worked tirelessly for many years, leaving behind an enduring mark in both his professional and personal life.
Survivors include his loving wife, Angelia (AL) Moser of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter, Marie Brownhill of Albuquerque, New Mexico; son and daughter-in-law, Ellis Moser (Jenny) of Montgomery, Alabama; stepson, Christopher Greenwood (Sara) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; stepdaughter, Katherine Carroll (Chris) of Lake Park, Georgia; grandchildren, Will Brownhill, Matt Brownhill, Grace Moser, Eli Moser, Isaac Moser, Josiah Greenwood, Sophie Greenwood, Kyrie Greenwood, Tobias Greenwood, Alyssa Paulo, Gage Carroll, Tatum Carroll, Bryson Carroll and Lilly Carroll; greatgrandchildren, Paisley Paulo and Peyton Paulo.
A memorial service will be held on March 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Morningside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
