Gary Junior Pittman

Gary Junior Pittman, 63, Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Shands Hospital in Gainsville, Florida. He was born on January 17, 1958 in Ashland, Kentucky to Betty (Gibson) Stone and the late Billy Pittman, Jr. He was a painter by trade. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Pittman.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Elizabeth Stone of Valdosta, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, William and Marie Carroll of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Erich Finch of Ray City, Georgia; son, Timothy Carroll (Cristina Royal) of Valdosta, Georgia; grandchildren: Cassandra Carter (Justin), Erich Finch, Jr., Ashley Finch, Chris Anne Finch, Hermione Carroll, Courtney Royal, Aricka Poag, Kylie Mitchell, Timothy Carroll, Jr., Abygail Carroll, Jersey Lee; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in Lake Park Cemetery, Ocean Pond Avenue, Lake Park, GA 31636. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
