Gary Westberry

Gary Westberry – 71 of Lake Park passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his residence after a battle with cancer. He was born November 18, 1947 in Elmira, NY to the late James “J-Bird” & Frances (Heller) Westberry. Gary served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked in the transportation industry for many years. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Smiley & brother, David Westberry.
Survivors Include: Wife, Beth Westberry, Lake Park; Son: Jerry Smiley (Denisa), Lake Park; 4 Daughters & Sons-in-law: Sandra Roe (Clint Smith), Stockton, GA, Kim Rhodes, New Smyrna Beach, FL, Rachael Odom (Johnny), Valdosta, Jennifer Hicks (Mathew); 12 Grandchildren; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Greg & Jean Westberry, Brooks County, GA; Aunt: Faye Westberry, Valdosta; Uncle: Jack, Columbus, OH and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in the Morrison Baptist Church Cemetery, Brooks County, GA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, December 17, 2018 at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
