Gene Oathout 65 of Nashville, GA passed away March 29, 2019 in Ocala, FL. He was born in Peoria, IL on February 3, 1954 to Kenneth Charles and Anna Jane Leffler Oathout. As District Sales Manager for ThermoFisher Scientific, he was a friend and trusted advisor to fire departments throughout Georgia and Florida ensuring they were equipped to protect their communities at the highest level.

As per his wishes, Mr. Oathouts wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 until service time at 11:00 AM.
