Genette Jackson – 85
Of Lakeland, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 7, 1937 in Nashville, Georgia to the late Archie Stone and Alice Mae (Exum) Stone. She was a member of Lovejoy Community Church. She lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger but her greatest achievement was raising her children and spending time with all of her family and friends. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Jackson, two sons, Joe Jackson and John Earl Jackson, a brother, Jimmy Stone, three sisters, Geneva Ray, Evelyn Stanford and Helen Toliver.

Survivors include: Daughter, Shirley Sellers of Nahunta, Georgia; Daughter, Geraldine Altman (Curt) of Jacksonville, Florida; Daughter, Helen Davis (B.J.) of Lakeland, Georgia; Son, Tommy Jackson (Selena) of Adel, Georgia; Son, Jimpsey Jackson (Martha) of Lakeland, Georgia; Daughter, Paula Bennett (Jeff) of Lakeland, Georgia; Daughter-in-law, Kathy Jackson of Lakeland, Georgia; Grandchildren: Johnny Creamer, Danny Creamer (Amber), Joseph Creamer, Crystal O’neal, Donna Altman, Reuben Altman (Angela), John Paul Jackson (Joni), Robert Earl Jackson (Kristy), Justin Jackson, Misty Johnson, Savannah Johnson, Elizabeth Jackson (Patrick), Austin Jackson, Karlie Phillips, Samson Bennett (Catie), Erica Bennett, Luke Bennett, Kelly Newsome (Chris), Amber Buckhalter, Tasha Jackson; 38 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great-Great Grandchildren; Brother, Archie Stone (Diane) of Nashville, Georgia

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Lovejoy Community Church with burial to follow in Fender Cemetery, Lakeland, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
