Genevieve was born in New Orleans on February 2, 1970, and raised in Shreveport, LA. She was warmly known for being sassy, smart, sweet, bright and energetic as well as for her big red curly hair and soulful blue eyes. She shared her big-hearted love freely with family and friends and held them close to her heart as the most important aspects of life, especially her daughter Eva. Genevieve’s personality and style were vivacious, colorful, fun, and entertaining. She was known for her compassionate care, unwavering dedication, and ability to empower women during one of the most significant times in their lives. Genevieve was later plagued by numerous illnesses, but she persisted in her positive outlook always finding her magnetic smile for those around her, Eva most of all.
