George Fredrick Ach Jr.

George Fredrick Drach, Jr. – 70
Of Valdosta, GA passed away in his home on Friday February 7, 2020 after a brief illness. George was born on July 27, 1949 in The Bronx, NY to the late George Fredrick Drach, Sr. and Florence (Marcantonio) Drach. George retired from the United States Air Force where he served in the capacity of Causality Officer (notifying families of causalities in the Vietnam War). After his retirement he worked as a welder for Brooks Welding where a loyal dedicated employee for 33 years.
Survivors include his Mother, Florence (Marcantonio) Drach of Bronx, New York; Brothers, Wayne Drach of Bronx, New York, Richard Drach of Bronx, New York, Edward Drach and wife Elaine of Darien, Connecticut, and Carl Drach and wife Laura of Trumbull Connecticut; numerous nieces and nephews.
A service with full military rights was held on Tuesday February 11, 2020 in The Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The Family was served by the caring staff of Music Funeral Services.
