Of Valdosta, GA passed away on early Wednesday morning, May 10, 2017 at Lakehaven Nursing Home. He was born on April 18, 1928 in Quitman, GA to Donald G. and Esther (Givens) Blair. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald G. Blair, Jr.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Ruth Blair of Valdosta, GA; nephew, Olien Blair and nieces, Vida Dowling, Donelle Sizemore and Dot Blair.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
