Of Lakeland passed away late Friday afternoon December 12, 2008 in Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He was born in Lanier County, Georgia to the late Eston Emons and Clois Durrance Dent. He worked in construction hanging dry wall, also he was a mechanic repairing automobiles.

A Number of Nieces and Nephews

Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends after the service until 9:00 p.m. In keeping with his wishes he then will be cremated.
