He was born May 8, 1919 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Francis Carroll and Susie Cordes Miller. He is a Navy Veteran serving in WWII. He was Presbyterian by Faith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sara Peters Miller.

Three Grand children, five great grand children, and two great great grandchildren,
along with many niece's and nephew's
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011 in Burnt Church Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations can be made to: Riverside Presbyterian Church, 849 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204.
