Of Jennings, FL passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 in Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 3, 1934 to the late James Ira Tyson & Mary Thompson Tyson Selph. Mr. Tyson served in the United States Air Force and was Church of Christ by faith. He worked with Owens-Illinois Bag Plant for a number of years. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 31, 2009 in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the funeral home.
