Of Lakeland, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at her home. She was born on March 8, 1944 in Nashville, GA to the late Alvin Mathis and Irene (Browning) Mathis. She worked at Laco Restaurant as a waitress. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Leggett, Son, Kenny Leggett, Special Cousin, Margaret Winningham.
Survivors include: Daughter, Sylvia Roberts of Naylor, GA; Grandchildren: Cain Roberts, Kaleb and Bridget Tomlinson; Great Grandchildren: James Denver Roberts, Branson Duff, Tripp, Cooper, Brianna and Ben; Special Cousin, Juanita Cornelius; Special Friend, Jamie Duff of Lake Park, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
