Gil House, 81
Passed away at Crestwood Nursing Home on September 16, 2014 after a long illness. He was born on September 23, 1932 in Manchester, KY to the late Lester and Sallie House. He was an honored Veteran of the US Air Force from 1949-1953 where he served in the Korean War. While stationed at Moody Air Force Base he was walking on Ashley Street at the corner of Hill and spotted Laura Allen Kinsey. He approached her and said, "Come on Baby, Let's go get married". He had rededicated his life to Christ on April 17, 2013 at Lake Park Church of God. He recently made a video in a hospital bed asking for anyone he had ever wronged to forgive him.
He is survived by his wife Laura Allen Kinsey, sons Charles House, Rocco Faye House, and Daughter Carole Lee Van Kleef, Grandchildren Charles Jr., Christy and Michelle, Laura, and Brittany and 7 great grandchildren.
