Ginger "Gg" Sue Chaney Moore

November 3, 1965 — January 11, 2025

Ginger “GG” Sue Chaney Moore - 59
Of Lake Park, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at her residence. She was born to the late Bobby Walter Chaney Sr. and Martha Sue Chaney on November 3, 1965, in Valdosta, Georgia. Ginger or “GG” as she was known by, was so many things to so many people. She was one of the most selfless, loving, and compassionate women of God there ever was. She gave her life to serve others & Jesus. She had a very successful and rewarding career as a nurse. Not only caring and serving in her field but teaching in it as well. She was “Aunt GG” to all her nieces and nephews and was adored by them all. They knew she loved each one of them so very much! They were her babies always and forever. More than anything, she was a true and faithful servant of God. Throughout her illness she continued to have “joy in the journey”. Her faith never wavered, and she testified that she lived in the goodness of God always. She served numerous times in the mission fields and was deeply involved in many ministries that her heart was led to. When she was diagnosed with the chronic rejection, she didn’t see it as failure but only as a time for others to see her favor from God and what he had done and was continuing to do in her life. She was such an inspiration to so many people. She fought until the last minute and ultimately won the battle with her illness and is now safely home in the arms of Jesus, the one whom she loved the most.
Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Gregg Moore Sr.; Grandparents, Henry and Effie Lee Chaney; and Lawson and Annie Anderson.
Survivors include her mother, Martha Sue Chaney of Lake Park, Georgia; sister Barbara Chaney Moore of Lake Park, Georgia; brother, Bobby Chaney Jr. (Laine) of Lake Park, Georgia; special friend, Chip Martin of Lake Park, Georgia; nieces: Alicia Moore Yunker (Thomas), Nicole McCauley (Daniel), and Megan Chaney; nephew, Gregg Moore Jr. Great nieces and nephews: BrayLynn, Hayden, Addison, Kaydence, Cottyn, EmaLeigh, Braxton, Gracie, and Ellie Kate.
