Glen Edward Thornbury

Glen Edward Thornbury, age 79, of Homerville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026. He was born to loving parents, Howard Francis Thornbury and Arie Irene Smith Thornbury on June 12, 1947, in Lakeland, FL.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on the ranch, living his life as a true cowboy. He served in the United States Army. After his years in the Army, he started working at Pipe Fitters Union. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Glen is survived by his son, “Gator” Thornbury (Sheila) of Homerville, GA; grandchildren, Ethan Thornbury (Nikki Earle) Caryville, FL and Bailey Thornbury; great grandchildren Eli Thornbury and Elaina Patterson and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
