Of Lake Park, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on July 20, 1954 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Roger Ludman and Rita Henriksen Birkemose Williams. He worked in the auto parts business for many years.
His survivors include, Daughters & Son-in-Law, Amanda Shapard of Hahira, Georgia; Jessica & Shanon Baker of Valdosta, Georgia; Grandchildren, Emma Shapard, Fisher Baker & Eliza Baker; Mother of Children, Melanie Williams of Valdosta, Georgia; Sister & Brother-in-Law, Peggy & Rudy Dowling of Valdosta, Georgia; Brother, Jerry Williams of Valdosta, Georgia; A number of nieces and nephews; and a Faithful Friend, Lucy the dog.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, January 31, 2014 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow at 2:00 PM at Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Jasper, Florida. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, Georgia 31602.
