Of Valdosta passed away Friday, November 07, 2008 in South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lowndes County on March 21, 1944 to the late Flemming "F.B" & Lelia Spells Williams. She was employed by Sam's Wholesale Club in Valdosta in the maintenance department since it opened and attended Macedonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed growing flowers, spending time with family and friends and cooking. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Eloise Griffin and Minnie Hendrickson, brothers, F.B. Williams, Jr. and Johnny Williams and brothers-in-law, Jessie Webb and Boots Griffin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 10, 2008 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman, GA. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the funeral home.
