Glynda Sue (Music) Roush – 76 of Lakeland, GA passed away at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born on September 10, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Glyndon & Maxine (Richardson) Music, Sr. In her early years, she worked as a paraprofessional in the Lanier County School Systems. To everyone she was simply “Aunt Sue”. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church. Most recently she could be found at home with her furry companion, Rocky or riding around with Mrs. Carolyn going to eat or getting her nails done. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Roush and 3 grandchildren: Jeremy & Jackson Roush and James Howard Bloodworth.
Survivors Include: Son: Dustin Simmons, Valdosta, GA; Bonus Daughter: Maggie Bloodworth (Donald), Hawkinsville, GA; Bonus Son: Chris Roush (Karesa), Murfreesboro, Tennessee; She was known to Daniel Bloodworth and Erik Roush as “GG”; Brother: W.G. “Dub” Music, Jr. (Wilma), Lakeland, GA; Sister-in-law: Janice Carmichael (Jim), Gainesville, GA; Nephews: Casey Music (Brooke), Michael Music (Kristy), Lee Music (April) and Kyle Music (Laura), Great Nieces and Nephews: Kaytibeth, Trenton, Aubrey, Emory, Hudson, Josie and Thomas; Special Friend and Caretaker: Carolyn Weeks, Lakeland, GA.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 21, 2025 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
