Gordon A. Sharp

On Sunday September 15th, 2019, Gordon A. Sharp, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away at the age of 72 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.

Gordon was born July 18, 1947 in Huntsville, Alabama to W.F & Juanita Sharp. Gordon served 27 years with the USAF and eventually retired. Gordon was a hard worker and continued to work after retirement with Delta Petroleum for an additional 10 more years and then Lowes Distribution Center both here in Valdosta, Georgia.

Gordon raised two sons Kenneth (Jennifer) Sharp of Valdosta, Georgia and Eric (Marybeth) Sharp of Valdosta, Georgia. He also has two grandsons Austin (Jessica) Sharp of Fort Worth, Texas and Mackenzie (Alexis) Sharp of Valdosta, Georgia and two great grandchildren Oakley Sharp of Fort Worth, Texas and Presley Sharp of Valdosta, Georgia.

Gordon loved fast cars and old westerns. Gordon loved spending quality time with his family.

Gordon is preceded in death by both parents W.F. & Juanita Sharp, two sisters Marie Pomerico and Loretta Podina and a Great-Granddaughter Charlotte Quinn Sharp.
