Grace Bealey Halter Hilton – 91
Of Valdosta, GA passed away early Friday morning, October 16, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born August 16, 1924 to Emma Roberts Bealey and Samuel Bealey, Sr. She grew up in St. Marys, GA and graduated from Montreat College in 1942 then GSCW in Milledgeville. She married Henry J. Halter Sr. on May 28, 1943 and lived in Fernandina, FL until they moved to Valdosta, GA in December of 1953 and have been here ever since. Ms. Grace was very active in the American Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary having recently received her 75 continuous year certificate, she enjoyed making quilts and sending them to different VA Hospitals for the disabled veterans

Sons & Daughters-in-Law, Jim & Wanda Halter of Valdosta, GA,
Sam Halter of Valdosta, GA,
Bill & Joanne Halter of Valdosta, GA;
Daughters & Son-in-Law, Eva & Randy Grubb of Valdosta, GA,
Loretta Halter of NY, NY;
10 Grandchildren; Jennifer, John, Elizabeth, Edward, Amelia, Jason, Josh, Eric, Shane, & Dori
11 Great Grandchildren;
Several nieces & nephews & extended family members.
As per her wishes she will be cremated. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Music Funeral Services of Valdosta, GA is serving the family.
