Greggory Don Moore, Sr. – 61
Of Quitman, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Valdosta, Georgia to Alice Law Moore and the late JD Moore. Mr. Moore loved his church and was an active member of Greenwood Baptist Church. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and dirt track racing. Mr. Moore loved his family dearly and held a special affection for his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father and father-in-law, Bobby Chaney, Sr.

Mr. Moore is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara Moore, Quitman, Georgia; Daughter: Alicia (Thomas) Yunker, Valdosta, Georgia; Son: Greggory Don Moore, Jr., Valdosta, Georgia; Six Grandchildren: Braylynn, Kaydence, Cottyn, Emaleigh, Braxton, Gracie; Mother: Alice Law Moore; Brothers: John Dee (Linda Faye) Moore Valdosta, Georgia; Kenny (Jodi) Moore, Valdosta, Georgia; Sister-in-Law: Ginger Moore, Cleveland, Tennessee; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: Bobby (Laine) Chaney, Jr., Lake Park, Georgia; Nieces: Nicole McCauley (Daniel) and Megan Chaney, Cleveland, Tennessee; Mother-in-law: Martha Sue Chaney, Valdosta, Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m at Greenwood Baptist Church 1645 E. Park Avenue Valdosta, Georgia 31602. The family will receive friends on Friday April 8, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Greenwood Baptist Church. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Sunset Hill Cemetery 1100 North Oak Street Valdosta, Georgia 31601.
