Guy Edward Waggie, III – 62
Of Ellenton, FL passed away peacefully on November 27, 2019 at his home, surrounded by loving family members. He was born on November 23, 1957 to the late Guy Edward, Jr. and Mary (Ernst) Waggie. He was a driver with Texas Freight before his retirement. He is proceeded in death by his brother-in-law, Fred Powell.
Survivors include Wife of 32 years Dianne Pittman Waggie of Ellenton, Fl; 5 children: Brandon Waggie of Richmond, VA; Guy Matthew Waggie and companion Teresa Attaway; Rachael W. Finney and Chris of Byron, GA; Amber W. LeBrescu and Chris of Warner Robbins, GA; Guy (Trey) Edward Waggie, IV of Byron, GA; 16 Grandchildren: Peyton, Kenslee, Brooke, Caleb, Katie, Emily, Gracie, Rhiana, Victoria, Parker; Kali, Emily, Jason, Bentley, Kayden, Avi, Sisters Linda W. Curtis and Arthur of Lizella, GA, Diane W. Powell of Warrenton, NC; Tina W. Marshall and Tommy of Ellenton, FL, a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, December 7, 2019, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services, with Pastor Brian Layton officiating. Interment will follow in the Lake Park Cemetery in Lake Park, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM on Friday December 6, 2019 at the funeral home.
