Gwendolyn Shaw Watson

Of Lakeland passed away Friday August 24, 2007 at the Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center after a brief illness. She was born in Berrien County on April 24, 1923 to the late Charles and Marie Shaw and lived in Lakeland most of her life. She was a member of the Lakeland United Methodist Church, Woodmen of the World, K&E Club and Ruby Berryhill Circle. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Lee Watson, 2 grandchildren Sam Watson and Tracy Watson.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday August 26, 2007 in the Lakeland United Methodist Church in Lakeland with burial following in Burnt Church Cemetery in Lanier Co., Georgia. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to the services. The family will receive friends this evening August 25, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Music Funeral Services, Lakeland is serving the Watson family.
