Of Valdosta passed away on Friday August 14, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Valdosta on March 29, 1946 to the late Thomas and Lona Myrl (Hicks) Dixon. She was a retired pricing manager for Winn Dixie stores. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Sutton, a son Michael Sutton, Brothers; Leroy Dixon and wife, Marie, Thomas Dixon, Woodrow Dixon, Harvey Dixon and wife, Lou Ella, a sister Francis Parker and her Mother-in-law and Father-in-Law Mildred and Bernice Sutton; Brothers-in-law, Ronald Sutton and wife, Martha, Billy Sutton and Fred Sutton.
Survivors include: Daughter, Cheryl Rumph and husband, Louis of Valdosta, Georgia; Grandchildren: Shane Rumph (Jaime), Tyler Rumph (Chris Sharpe), Jessica Rumph and Kaylee Rumph; Great Grandchildren: Aivary, Dahlia; Sisters, Ruby Edwards and late husband, Earl of Asheville, North Carolina, Darlene Keeling and late husband, Charles of Valdosta, Georgia, Linda Faye Gilliam and late husband, Mike of Valdosta, Georgia; Brother, Marvin Dixon and wife, Angela of Valdosta, Georgia; Sisters-in-law, Jeannie Dixon of Valdosta, Georgia, Betty Rudd and late husband, Bobby of Valdosta, Georgia, Joyce Dixon and late husband, Thomas of Valdosta, Georgia; Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday August 16, 2020 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral services with burial to follow in Dasher Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the funeral home.
