Harriet Micholine “Mickey” Bamburg – 89 passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. She was born in Brinkley, Arkansas but had lived the last 67 years in Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her parents, Velma and Oliver Blunt, husband of 60 years, Ellis Langley Bamburg, a son, Roy Bamburg and a brother, Thurston “Sonny” Blunt. She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Selph (Phillip), Debra Joseph (Richard); grandchildren, Michael Bamburg, Mendy Darby (Kirk), Macy Storme (Ryan), Shon Hoskins (Stacie), Misty Moore (Allen), Maria Bamburg, Matthew Bamburg, John Joseph, Catherine Joseph and several great grandchildren.
Mickey was one of the original members of Clyattville Methodist Church and later Wesley Southern Methodist Church. She was a very active member of Order of the Eastern Star for many years and raised a tremendous amount of money for The Shriners Childrens Hospital. She was also an active member of the Wymodausis Womens Club for 20 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
