Hattilu McIntyre Moore – 82

Of Virginia Beach, VA passed away Wednesday Morning, Dec. 10, 2003 at Virginia Beach General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lowndes County and had lived in Virginia Beach with her daughter, Carole for the last 19 Years. Mrs. Moore had served in various School Systems in Georgia, Kansas, and Florida. She served as Elementary School Principal for 15 years in Gainesville where she retired in 1984. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gainesville, Fl. She received her degree in education from Valdosta State College and received her master’s degree from the University of Florida, and was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Sorority.
