Hayward Bo Bennett

Hayward “Bo” Bennett – 73 of Lakeland, GA went to be with the lord on Wednesday June 17, 2020 at the South Georgia Medical Center. Bo was born on November 6, 1946 in Stockton, GA to the late Hettie (Holmes) and Britt Bennett. He was a graduate of Lanier County High School and worked for many years as a service technician with Langdale Fuel. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings: Opal Mullis, Elzie Bennett, James Kelly, and Obie Kelly.
Bo is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lori (Ray) Bennett of Lakeland, GA; Children: Tammy Lynn Kennedy (David) of North Georgia, Kevin Bennett (Mary) of Jacksonville, FL, Carolee Tucker (Eddie) of Panama City, FL, Mitchell Bennett of Lakeland, GA and Heather Pafford (John) of Lakeland, GA; Grandchildren: Amanda Kennedy, Aaron Kennedy, Michael Bennett, Matthew Bennett, Angela Bennett, Brandon Tucker, Clyde Tucker, Brantley Bennett, Benny Pafford; 5 great grandchildren; Sisters: Hazel Ellis of Hahira, GA, Mavis Fender of Hahira, GA, Dena Arnold (Cleo) of Homerville, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 20, 2020 in the Stockton Baptist Church Cemetery.
