Of Lake Park passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Echols County on October 10, 1940 to the late John James & Laura Mae Deloach Spivey. She loved to cook for family and friends. She owned and operated several beauty salons, her last being Head Boutique. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Mrs. Oliver is survived by her, Husband of 48 years, Charles Oliver, Lake Park, GA; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Charlott & L.J. Devane, Lake Park, GA, Tanya & Sammy Merchant, Lake Park, GA; Son & Daughter-in-law, Greg & Missy Oliver, Lake Park, GA; Grandchildren, Charles Strickland, Candace Barden, Brandi "Cricket" Whitfield and Will Oliver; Great Granddaughter, Makaylie Barden; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Barbara & J.D. Warren, Andersonville, GA, Vicki & Steve Morris, Valdosta, GA; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Frank Spivey, South Carolina, Buck & Pat Spivey, Howell, GA, Ronald Spivey, South Carolina, Roger & Melissa Spivey, Tennessee
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 4, 2011 at Mrs. Oliver's residence, 2648 Shelton Road, Lake Park, GA. 31636. Interment will be held at a later date in Wayfare Cemetery.
