Helen Wood Clements

Helen (Wood) Clements – 88 of Ray City, GA passed away on Sunday April 19, 2020 in the Lakeland Villa after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 25, 1931 in Ray City, GA to the late Willie & Viola (Mathis) Wood. Helen was a lifelong member of the Ray City First Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir, gardening and working with her flowers. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William A. “Billy” Clements; Sisters: Willene Hunter, Mary Nell Bland & Velma Jefferson and her Brother, Harvey Wood.
Survivors include her Sons: Doug Clements and wife, Mary of Chula, GA, David Clements and wife, Margie of Ray City, GA, Chris Clements and wife, Linda of Virgina Beach, VA; 8 Grandchildren: Staccee McEldoon (Danny), Michelle Avalos, Justin Clements, Mary Beth Clements, Jennifer Clements, Christine Wood (Andrew), Lindsey Rushing (Mark), Stephanie Kohn (Joe);13 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
As per her wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held in the Ray City First Baptist Church at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
