Of Hahira passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 in South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on August 20, 1932 in Louden, TN to the late Hugh & Mary Tinnell Arden. Mr. Arden served in the United States Air Force. He was retired from the civil service as an assistant fire chief at Moody Air Force Base. He is a member of Hahira First Freewill Baptist Church where he was Deacon and song leader. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Arden, Billy Arden and a sister, Margaret Arden.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 20, 2010 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
