Herbert Harvey – 88
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 20, 1932 in Abbeville, Georgia to Herman S. and Zula B. (Studstill) Harvey. He liked to tinker and fix things, he loved his wife and family and had a profound love for the Lord. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters Becky and Brenda Benavides.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Christine Harvey of Valdosta, Georgia; Son Timmy Barnard of Valdosta, Georgia; Daughter Rhonda Cavagnaro of Valdosta, Georgia; Granddaughter Angela Ratliff of Valdosta, Georgia; Grandson Tommy Benavides of Valdosta, Georgia; Granddaughter Kathy Strickland of Valdosta, Georgia; Brittany Benavides of Valdosta, Georgia; Granddaughter Tiffany Benavides of Valdosta, Georgia, and a host of extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in the Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the funeral home.
