Of Hahira passed away Monday Morning, November 24, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 5, 1934 in Irwin County, GA to the late John and Ethel Mae Luke Boykin. He was a truck driver for over 40 years with an accident free record. He was Church of God by faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Foots" Boykin.
Survivors Include: Daughter, Wanda Bearden, Atlanta, GA; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Harold "Glenn" & Sue Boykin, Hahira, GA; Sister-in-law, Eleanor Martin, Tifton, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in Wilkes Cemetery in Cook County, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday night, November 27, 2015 at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
