Hilda Ann Patten, 69 of Chestnut Ave., Lakeland, Ga. passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland, Ga.
She was born Jan. 9, 1942 in Lowndes County, Ga. to the late John Drawdy Patten, Jr. and Alene Mae OQuinn Patten. She was a member of Real Club, Woodman of the World, Lanier County and Cook County Developmental Centers and was a member of First Baptist Church, Lakeland.
She is survived by her sister, Lois Nanette Davis; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John Evans and Nanette Patten, Donald and Emma Patten; nieces and nephews, Terri and Rocky Moore, Suzanne and Jerry Mathis, Becky and Gerry Harris, Pat and Kay Patten, Cheryl and Ricky Pounds, Donnie Patten, JoAnn and Bill Fort, Donna and Rick Fenchel, Randy and Tina Patten, Laurie and Rick Sheehan, Bill and Robin Davis; 23 great-nieces and nephews; and nine great-great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Lakeland with the Rev. John E. Patten and the Rev. John Bracken officiating. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be held in the Greenlawn Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held from 6- 8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the funeral home.Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the family.
